The installed price usually covers the panels, the inverter, the mounting structure, the wiring and the labour. A 500 Wp panel therefore comes to about 5,500 MAD installed, all included.

How long until the system pays for itself?

For a 500 MAD monthly bill at 11 MAD/Wp, the system pays for itself in 8.1 to 11.6 years depending on the city, then keeps producing for another twenty years or so. The city-by-city figures give the calculation for 35 cities.

A quote well above 15 MAD/Wp deserves a question. Compare at least three quotes from Taqa Pro certified installers.
